I have have had five homes built for me over the years, two of them in New Zealand, so I know a good builder when I am fortunate enough to find one. And I found one in MyPad.
They offer a simple but elegant modular house plan that lends itself to variety of configurations and materials. I began working with Sarah on the design while almost 7,000 miles away in San Francisco and through frequent emails, including sketches and discussions of a variety of options, we arrived at a design that met our every need. Sarah responded to my questions, requests, comments, and hopes quickly and creatively. It couldn't have worked better if I had been right on the building site. Highly organised and professional Sarah kept the project on track without a hitch.
Once the plans were approved I came out to NZ to see the beginning of the build. In less than a month the house was framed in and I was impressed with both the speed and quality of construction. After I returned to the states, Sarah sent me frequent photos picturing the progress of the construction. If you are looking for a well-designed, beautifully built and affordable home, you can't do better than to hire MyPad.

A few years ago we approached MyPad to ask whether they would build a home for our charity (Mangawhai Activity Zone Charitable Trust - MAZ) so that on completion we could auction it in an endeavour to raise funds for our community outdoor park.
